Slazenger Padel Club Lands in Swindon

The retail landscape of Swindon is getting a sporty makeover as the iconic brand Slazenger officially opens its latest padel and pickleball destination at Greenbridge Retail Park.

After weeks of anticipation, the club opened its doors on Monday, December 29th, transforming Unit 17 (situated near Fiesta de Cuba and KFC) into a state-of-the-art indoor sports hub.

A Premier Indoor Facility

The new Slazenger Padel Club is designed to cater to the massive surge in interest for “rebound” sports. The facility features:

  • 8 Indoor Padel Courts: Providing high-quality play without the interference of wind or rain.
  • 2 Pickleball Courts: Tapping into the world’s fastest-growing court sport, which is often seen as a perfect partner to padel.

Focus on Community and Coaching

Beyond just court rentals, the club is launching with a heavy focus on player development. They are offering:

  • Coaching Programmes: Tailored sessions for all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to advanced competitors.
  • Founder Memberships: Early adopters can snag a “Founder Member” status, which includes perks such as 20% off court bookings and retail, plus a 31-day advanced booking window.

Slazenger’s Expanding Footprint

While Swindon already houses Padel4All at Bassett Down, the arrival of a global powerhouse like Slazenger at a major retail park signifies the sport’s shift into the mainstream. By repurposing large retail units into leisure spaces, the brand is making padel more accessible to families and casual players who can now combine a shopping trip with a high-energy match.
